Huge milestone for FutureQuals as we hit 5000 End-Point Assessments

This week we’re celebrating an incredible milestone at FutureQuals – we’ve just reached 5,000 End-Point Assessments (EPAs) successfully certificated with ESFA!

That means that over the last five years we’ve played a key role in 5,000 Ambulance Support Workers, Emergency Contact Handlers and Healthcare Assistant Practitioners, and more, completing their apprenticeship.

FutureQuals has been delivering qualifications since 2005, but our EPA journey began in 2017, with the first successful candidate becoming a qualified Associate Ambulance Practitioner.

And, whilst most apprentices we have assessed so far have been in pre-hospital care, we’re excited to be stepping into aviation now too, with our first Air Traffic Controller assessment taking place just last week.

A key feature of our approach is our ‘360-degree collaboration’ which is our unique way of supporting our apprentices, employers and training providers throughout the training and assessment process. Together, we’ve created an system where each party is able to thrive and every apprentice receives the guidance, resources, and feedback they need to succeed.

Elizabeth Pincombe-Stringer, our Head of EPA, says:

Without the help that our apprentices get from their employers, training providers, independent assessor and ourselves, we wouldn’t have been able to reach this huge goal. So for everyone who’s supported all our apprentices over the years, thank you!
