About FutureQuals Qualifications – The Awarding Organisation
FutureQuals is an awarding organisation offering regulated qualifications to approved colleges and training providers through Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, CCEA Regulation, and Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Accreditation.

Qualifications in England
Qualifications that are developed, delivered and awarded by recognised awarding bodies are regulated to be offered in England through Ofqual.
Access to qualifications approved by Ofqual can be found on the Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications here.
Ofqual have autonomy over the qualifications offered in England and the standard to which qualifications are awarded.
Qualifications that are regulated by Ofqual will be eligible for funding through the Education and Skills Funding Agency. Details of the funding attached to each of FutureQuals’ qualifications can be found on the ESFA website here.
The majority of FutureQuals’ qualifications are regulated by Ofqual.

Qualifications in Wales
Qualifications that are developed and delivered by recognised awarding bodies are regulated to be offered in Wales through Qualification Wales.
Qualification Wales are funded by the Welsh Government and have autonomy over the qualifications offered in Wales and the standard to which qualifications are awarded.
Access to qualifications approved or designated (funded) in Wales can be found through the Qualification in Wales (QiW) Register here.
Qualifications that are approved or designated by Qualifications Wales will be eligible for funding by a Local Authority or by Welsh Government.

Qualifications in Scotland
Qualifications that are developed and delivered by recognised awarding bodies are regulated to be offered in Scotland through SQA Accreditation.
FutureQuals are one of SQA Accreditation’s approved awarding bodies. Information about the approved awarding bodies can be found here.
The SQA Accreditation have autonomy over the qualifications offered in Scotland and the standard to which qualifications are awarded.
FutureQuals offers a number of qualifications that are level and credited through the SCQF for award in Scotland.

Qualifications in Northern Ireland
Qualifications that are developed and delivered by recognised awarding bodies are regulated to be offered in Northern Ireland through the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment, CCEA Regulation.
CCEA Regulation are responsible for the regulation of qualifications taken by learners in Northern Ireland and for the standard to which qualifications are awarded.
Access to qualifications approved in Northern Ireland can be found through the Ofqual Register.
Qualifications that are approved by CCEA Regulation will be eligible for funding through the Department for the Economy.
