The Benefits of Regulated First Aid Qualifications

What is a regulated first aid qualification?

Regulated first aid qualifications are listed on the National Qualification Framework for their respective country and regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA, or CCEA.

BEWARE: some industry organisations claim to offer “nationally regulated first aid training qualifications” and to “regulate training providers”. These are NOT government regulated qualifications.

How can I check if a first aid qualification is regulated?

A list of Awarding Organisations (AOs) that accredit government regulated first aid qualifications can be found here. Certificates issued by these AOs contain the Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA and/or CCEA logos.
